About Turkey in EuropeTurkey in Europe has been established to bring international business together to promote Turkish membership of the European Union. Turkey in Europe is independent of the Turkish and UK governments and funded by its members, allowing it to be an independent business-focussed voice in support of Turkish membership. Turkey in Europe publishes a quarterly magazine to promote Turkey to key stakeholders in the European Union, organise events in the UK, Brussels and Turkey to promote Turkey’s EU membership and lobby for Turkish membership more generally. Membership is open to businesses throughout Europe which support Turkish EU membership. The UK patrons of Turkey in Europe are: Denis MacShane MP, the former Minister for Europe, Michael Gove MP, the Shadow Secretary for Children, Schools and Families, and Graham Watson MEP, the leader of the ALDE group in the European Parliament.
